Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Overview

This policy applies to all paid subscriptions on Qord (available at qord.in). By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the terms set out in this policy. All payments are processed securely by Razorpay, our PCI-DSS compliant payment partner.

2. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time, without penalty, directly from your account dashboard:

  1. Log in to your Qord account.
  2. Navigate to Dashboard → Settings → Billing.
  3. Click "Cancel subscription" and confirm.

No email or support request is required. Cancellation takes effect immediately within the platform, but your access continues as described in Section 3 below.

3. Access After Cancellation

When you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current paid billing cycle. You will continue to have full access to all features of your plan during this period. No further charges will be made after the cancellation date.

At the end of the billing cycle, your account will be downgraded to the free tier. Properties, bookings, and data are retained for 90 days on the free tier, after which inactive accounts may be archived. You can reactivate at any time by subscribing again.

4. Refund Eligibility

Because Qord is a SaaS subscription service, all charges are generally non-refundable. Partial refunds or credits for unused days in a billing cycle are not issued upon voluntary cancellation.

However, we consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following limited circumstances:

  • Accidental renewal: If you were charged upon automatic renewal and you had intended to cancel beforehand, you may request a refund within 48 hours of the charge. We will review your account usage during that period and, if the service was not materially used, process a full refund.
  • Duplicate charge: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate amount in full.
  • Service unavailability: If Qord experiences a sustained outage (more than 72 hours of continuous downtime) that is attributable to our infrastructure, you may request a prorated credit for the affected period.

To request a refund, email us at support@qord.in with the subject line "Refund Request — [your registered email]". Include your organisation name, the charge date, and the reason for your request.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

If your refund request is approved, the amount will be reversed to your original payment method (credit/debit card, UPI, or net banking) via Razorpay. Refunds typically reflect within 5 to 7 working days from the date of approval, subject to your bank's processing time.

We will notify you via email at every stage — when your request is received, when a decision is made, and when the refund is initiated.

6. Plan Downgrades & Upgrades

If you downgrade from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan mid-cycle, no partial refund is issued for the difference. The new plan pricing takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

If you upgrade mid-cycle, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period at the new plan rate.

7. Trial Period

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No payment is collected during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. Once the trial expires and payment is collected, this refund policy applies.

8. Payment Security

All payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. Qord does not store your credit card number, debit card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or any sensitive payment credentials. Payment data is handled entirely within Razorpay's secure infrastructure and never passes through our servers.
